Minister responds that the wage freeze legislation has been passed. Public elementary teachers should support the government because of their significant investments in education.
Minister of Ed: Expects boards to provide training to employees on implementation of Bill 157.
Minister of Ed: Govt will continue to emphasize school safety – Bill 157 requires teachers to report student violence, bullying.
Minister of Ed: Govt will continue to provide accurate info on achievement. No moratorium on EQAO testing.
