Final Review and Approval of the Budget

On the final day of each Annual Meeting the First Vice-President, as Chair of the Budget Committee, takes delegates through a review of the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year. This year Susan Swackhammer led delegates through a review of all lines in the 2016-2017 proposed budget that were impacted by resolutions passed at the meeting. As well, delegates had a final opportunity to propose changes to budget lines that were then debated and voted on. This process concluded with the approval of the 2016-17 proposed budget just before noon, allowing the important work of the federation to continue in the new school year.
