The final session of Annual Meeting 2017 is quickly coming to an end. A short time ago, retiring First Vice-President Susan Swackhammer presented her final budget. Then delegates proposed, debated, and voted on amendments. Approval of the 2017-18 ETFO budget came just after noon, allowing the important work of the Federation to continue in the next school year. Swackhammer then passed the responsibility for chairing the Budget and Finance Committee to incoming First Vice-President Karen Campbell.
Following Budget approval, the chair ruled any resolutions that would change the document out of order. Delegates then turned to debate on motions that have no monetary implications.
The meeting will adjourn at 1:45 pm with a series of courtesy motions thanking the functionaries, ETFO staff, hotel staff, AV staff, and etc.
